Skip to content Amid the growing challenges facing local communities, Baasir Charity Association participated in a workshop entitled “Mediation to Reduce Tensions During Crises.” The workshop was held as part of a local initiative led by local mediator Amani Al-Khatib under the IMPACT project: Local Mediation for the Prevention and Reduction of Community Tensions, implemented by the Berghof Foundation with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office. The workshop aimed to strengthen volunteers’ capacities to manage conflicts peacefully and in a context-sensitive manner, enhance internal cooperation, build trust, and support effective local responses to challenges, thereby helping to prevent community tensions and reduce the risk of escalation.
